��Մ�Θ��� Lively discussion with Ambassador Premo?e

On June 2, Mr. Janez Premo?e, Charg�� d’Affaires ad interim of the Republic of Slovenia to Japan, paid a courtesy visit to University of Fukui and met with President UEDA Takanori, Prof. NAGAI Niro (Vice President for International Affairs), Prof. AKASHI Yukio (Dean of the Graduate School of Engineering), and Prof. TAKAHASHI Yasutake (Graduate School of Engineering).

Together with Mr. TAKINAMI Hirofumi, Sen., Ph.D. and Mr. SHINDO Tetsuji, Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Slovenia in Fukui, the participants exchanged views on how to realize active exchange between the Republic of Slovenia and Fukui, in relation to the upcoming visit to Slovenia by Mr. SHINDO, Mr. TAKINAMI and Prof. NAGAI in July and a group of students and faculty members from the University of Ljubljana visiting UF in September. Ambassador Premo?e said in fluent Japanese, “On behalf of Slovenia, I would like to continue to cooperate to promote academic exchange with Fukui,” and a lively discussion ensued on the possibility of further exchange based on the latest information in the field of AI and robotics in Slovenia.

University of Fukui will continue to promote further exchange and collaboration activities with the Republic of Slovenia.
